The named slabs with stars lie right in the paving of the embankment. What matters here is the names: who, for what and when.

What it is
A pavement into which names are set
Sea Breeze Walk of Fame is a stretch of the resort's embankment near Baku where square slabs of dark stone are laid into light granite. Each has a golden five-pointed star with a name, a facsimile of a signature and a date, and next to it a granite plaque with a text about the person.
The walk was opened on July 21, 2023. After that the slabs are added one at a time — usually on the day of a concert, the DREAM Fest festival or a memorable date. Some of the stars are unveiled posthumously: the cover is removed by widows, children and colleagues.
We collected 43 names with a source for each. That is fewer than the stars on the walk: there is no continuous official list anywhere.
How a slab is built
The star, the signature, the date and the plaque
- A square of dark, almost black stone is set into the light granite pavement.
- Inside is a golden five-pointed star filling the whole slab.
- The name in Latin letters, a facsimile of the signature and the date are engraved on the star.
- Next to it, in the same line of paving, lies a gray granite plaque with a text about the person.
- Along the retaining wall run burgundy plaques with the inscription Sea Breeze Walk of Fame.

There is no exact list — and we do not hide it
There is no official full list of the slabs in open access. Reports from different years give different numbers of stars. Below are all the versions we found, with dates and sources.
